The City of Falls Church is celebrating its title as the Healthiest Community in America as recognized by U.S. News & World Report. To keep the momentum going, we’re launching the Falls Church Fitness Challenge, a month-long event designed for all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Whether you’re new to exercise or a seasoned pro, there’s something for everyone. Get ready to get moving and join the fun this April 1 to 30 to boost your mental well-being and connect with the community—while earning rewards!

Who Can Join

This event is open to all Falls Church residents—kids, adults, and people of all fitness levels. City Government and School Employees are also encouraged to participate!

💪 How It Works


Get Started: You can pick up or print your Fitness Passport Bingo Board at local pickup locations in the City from April 1 to 30, 2025.

✔ Challenge Your Way: Choose activities that match your fitness level, from gentle yoga and walking to team sports and group workouts. Invite family, friends, and coworkers to join!
✔ Get Active: Complete challenges to improve your health and win prizes! The more challenges you finish, the bigger your rewards.
✔ Track Your Progress: Mark off completed challenges on your Fitness Challenge Bingo Board, and share photos on Instagram @fallschurchedo with #FallsChurchFit.
 Prizes & Raffles: Turn in your completed Fitness Challenge Passport at designated locations by the end of the month to claim your prizes and enter our raffle!

Karma YogaWe offer a yoga school meets studio experience, focusing on a blend of powerful flows and athletic classes with slower flows and softer classes. Students can slow down, tune in, rewire and play in community practice, eventually taking their yoga practice off the mat and into the world.

Falls Church Jazzercise offers group fitness classes for all levels. Their classes incorporate dance cardio with strength training to sculpt and tone your muscles in the ultimate full–body workout.

Transitional Wellness for Women provides individual personal training and wellness programs to guide you through your unique perimenopause and menopause.

Barre3’s efficient + effective workout combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness. Working out at Barre3, you’ll move through low-impact isometric moves, large-range cardio bursts, and mind-centering breath work.

STRIKELAB – Train at the best technical boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai gym in the DMV. No matter your fitness level, experience, or age, STRIKELAB is a true “striking” gym. Kids can get in on the fun too, as STRIKELAB has an after-school program for kids ages 6-14.

Pilates at Stacey’s provides a judgment-free, progress-not-perfection type of practice. They offer small group classes to help you make adjustments, learn how to do the moves correctly, and gain maximum benefit from every workout.

  • One FREE Pilates Suspension Training Class, Saturdays in April at 10am and Mondays in April at 5:30pm: Pilates Suspension classes use a suspension trainer (think TRX) to add additional balance and strength challenges beyond those offered in a mat class.
