LOVE Sculpture Unveiling: “Reflection – Diversity and Inclusivity”
Date: Wednesday, October 22, 2025
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: City Hall Campus, 300 Park Ave. Falls Church, VA 22046 (between City Hall and Cherry Hill Farmhouse)
Join the City of Falls Church for the unveiling of its new life-sized LOVE Sculpture, titled Reflection: Diversity and Inclusivity. This permanent public art installation celebrates The Little City’s history, commitment to democracy, and values of inclusion and community.
Designed by City employee and artist Ripal Patel, the installation features an “O” illustrated with scenes of Falls Church’s people and places—brought to life with the help of local watercolor artist Bill Abel—surrounded by reflective metal letters “L,” “V,” and “E” that mirror those who stand before them, symbolizing unity and belonging. The new sculpture joins more than 300 LOVEworks installations across Virginia, extending the “Virginia is for Lovers” brand and highlighting Falls Church as a creative and welcoming destination for visitors.
Guests are invited to attend the unveiling ceremony, meet the artists, and take photos with the sculpture. Share your snapshots on social media using #LoveFC and #LoveVA to help spread the LOVE.
