Tinner Hill Mural
To honor the contributions of this vibrant community and its leaders, the Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation commissioned a mural. Several talented artists submitted their designs, and the project was awarded to Arlington artist Bryan King. The mural features prominent figures such as Joseph Tinner and Dr. E. B. Henderson, who, along with other community members, fought against segregation. Their organization received the first rural charter of the NAACP, marking a pivotal moment in civil rights history.
