Watch Night returns to downtown Falls Church with an expanded celebration, offering additional activities, live music, entertainment, and special features throughout the evening. This annual tradition welcomes friends, neighbors, families, and visitors to gather and count down to the star drop at midnight.
With West Broad Street closed to traffic between North Maple Avenue and South Washington Street, attendees can visit outdoor tents, gather by fire pits, and stop by local restaurants. Enjoy food, meet friends, and experience the lively downtown atmosphere as midnight approaches.
Watch live bands, dance to a DJ, and enjoy entertainment throughout the evening. Families will find activities for children, including bounce houses and gaming trucks. Light-up features add to the festive atmosphere, and warming stations provide a place to rest before continuing the festivities.
Stop by participating Falls Church restaurants, purchase a featured drink, and take it with you as you stroll through the designated Little City Sips area. We’ll share the participating restaurants, featured drinks, and Sips map as December gets closer. Guests must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Watch the How to Sip in The Little City video to learn more.
As midnight approaches, join the community on Broad Street for Watch Night’s signature moment. Count down the final seconds of 2026 and watch the historic star drop. Welcome the new year together in The Little City.
