Limited accessible parking for vehicles with placards will be available in the Community Center parking lot. Additional parking is available in marked public lots\, including the City Hall and Community Center lots\, at the Kaiser Permanente parking garage\, and on nearby side streets where permitted.

Hands-on activities include pumpkin and birdhouse painting\, corn grinding\, seed sowing\, and a stick horse craft. There is plenty to try\, whether your child loves animals\, making things\, or getting involved in an activity. \nStay for the atmosphere. Live music and entertainment take place throughout the day\, making it easy to wander between demonstrations and activities at your own pace. Farm Day is a chance to spend time together\, welcome the fall season\, and discover a piece of Falls Church history. \nWho should attend? Bring family and friends\, spread out a blanket or set up a low-profile chair\, and relax as the park becomes an open-air theater at dusk. \nFriday\, September 25: Hoppers (2026\, PG) at approximately 7:15 p.m.\nFriday\, October 16: Jumanji (1995\, PG) at approximately 6:45 p.m. \nCome early to find a good viewing spot and enjoy food before the movie. Kaziville will serve burgers and hot dogs\, while Mr. Flavors will offer ice cream and sweets. Popcorn\, drinks\, and additional snacks will also be available for purchase from the City’s Recreation & Parks Department. Food vendors will begin serving about an hour before each movie. \nGuests are welcome to bring a picnic\, along with blankets\, chairs\, bug spray\, and anything else needed for a comfortable evening outdoors. Leashed\, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Movie start times are approximate and may vary based on sunset.

With activities to move between and treats to enjoy along the way\, families can spend their session playing together at a pace that suits their children. It is a festive way for younger kids to celebrate Halloween with neighbors and friends. \nWho should attend? The carnival is designed for children 11 and under and the adults accompanying them. It is a good fit for families looking for a playful Halloween outing with games and activities geared toward younger visitors. \nPlease only attend one of the two sessions so other children and families have a chance to participate. The event is planned for Cherry Hill Park. If weather requires it to move indoors\, the carnival will take place at the nearby City of Falls Church Community Center. Strollers must be left outside if the event moves indoors\, so families may find it easier to leave them at home.
