Throughout April\, participants can complete activities on the Fitness Challenge Passport\, try free classes\, and take advantage of special offers from more than 25 local fitness and wellness businesses across the city. \nInspired by Falls Church’s recognition as the Healthiest Community in America by U.S. News & World Report\, the challenge encourages people of all ages and fitness levels to stay active\, try new workouts\, and connect with the community. \nKickoff Event: Falls Church Move\nThe Fitness Challenge kicks off with Falls Church Move\, a full-day outdoor fitness event at Modera Founders Row featuring free classes led by local studios and instructors. A high-energy workout that blends shadowboxing with resistance training for a full-body burn. This Rumble class combines fast-paced boxing combinations with strength intervals to build power and keep you moving.  \nZumba | Time: 9 am (50 mins)\nTaught by Terry Dade\, FCCPS Superintendent. Kick off the day with a high-energy\, feel-good dance party. This Latin-inspired cardio workout is all about movement and community fun. No dance experience required. \nPilates Mat Class | Time: 10 am (50 mins)\nTaught by Meredith Moncure\, Club Pilates. \nHIIT | Time: 11am (40 mins)\nTaught by Jeanine Bonds\, Balanced Female Fitness. Short bursts\, big results. This fast-paced HIIT session alternates strength and cardio intervals to boost endurance and leave you feeling powerful.  \nBarre3 | Time: 11:45 am (40 mins)\nTaught by Hope Wheeler\, Barre3. This full-body workout blends strength\, cardio\, and mindfulness. Perfect for all fitness levels. Move in the fresh air and enjoy the energizing vibe of the community.  \nWERQ | Time: 12:30pm (40 mins)\nTaught by Sarah Barry\, WERQ. Turn up the volume and unleash your inner performer. This fiercely fun cardio dance workout combines pop and hip-hop hits with nonstop energy.  \nBody Dynamics Stretch & Mobility | Time: 1:15 pm (40 mins)\nTaught by Grace Ball\, Body Dynamics. A dynamic stretch and mobility class that blends targeted flexibility work with Pilates-based core activation. Designed to improve joint mobility\, enhance posture\, and build deep stabilizing strength while helping you move with greater ease and control.  \nSound Bath Session and Movement | Time: 2 pm (50 mins)\nTaught by Jenny Mayo\, Jenny Mayo Mind and Movement.  \nPilates | Time: 3 pm (50 mins)\nTaught by Dr. Kathleen Melia\, PT\, DPT\, MovePhysioFit. Strengthen your core and improve posture and mobility with this all-levels class. Kathleen brings a thoughtful\, supportive approach designed to help you feel longer\, stronger\, and more aligned.  \nJazzercise | Time: 4 pm (45 mins)  \nTaught by Sandy Kiersz\, Falls Church Jazzercise. End the event in style. Dance and sweat in this upbeat full-body workout set to today’s hottest music. The perfect high-energy finale to close out the day.
