DESCRIPTION:Celebrate community\, music\, and summer fun at Falls Church Civic Jam\, a new event commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary. This free\, family-friendly celebration brings together residents and visitors for an evening of live music\, local food and drinks\, interactive activities\, and opportunities to connect with the civic organizations and nonprofits that help make the City of Falls Church such a vibrant place to live. \nEnjoy performances from local and regional bands\, browse community booths\, relax in the beer garden\, and take part in classic backyard games\, inflatables\, a photo booth\, and free cotton candy. Feeling competitive? Gather a team of up to four people and join the all-ages Civic Cup Competition\, featuring relay races\, games\, and challenges throughout the evening for a chance to win the Civic Cup Trophy. No pre-registration is required. \nLive Music Lineup \n\n6:00 – 7:00 p.m.: Villains and Saints\n7:30 – 8:30 p.m.: Historically Close Friends\n9:00 – 10:00 p.m.: Ocho De Bastos\n\nAdmission is free\, and the event takes place rain or shine. Please note that there will be no fireworks\, and fireworks\, sparklers\, and other flammable items are prohibited.
